Please join the DC Area Phi Beta Kappa Association for their March book club meeting on Wednesday, March 27 at Nagomi Izakaya (1990 M St NW) at 6:30pm.
They'll be discussing Pedro Páramo by Juan Rulfo, (Classic, 124 pages). All DCPBK members and guests are invited to attend. They'll also be looking into organizing a tie-in tour of the Mexican Cultural Institute in April to supplement the reading.
A quick note on meeting group size: they have begun to be capped at 18 attendees for two reasons; any larger and collective discussion becomes harder, even when split into smaller groups, and the restaurant that hosts so graciously has asked us to cap it there due to space limitations. Please be sure to RSVP early if you plan to make it, and to update your RSVP should you no longer be able to attend, to open space for others who may wish to join.
