Join the Northern California Association on a hike through Mt. Burdell from 11:00 a.m. to 1 or 2 p.m.
What would you do if you had a spectacular park almost in your own back yard? Ask fellow PBKNCA members to pack a lunch and join you for a nature walk on Marin County Open Space’s Mt. Burdell in Novato, of course.
This will be an approximately 3 1/2 mile loop trail around a vernal pool - mostly on fire roads, but some single track sections. There is some uphill at the beginning of the hike (good students always attack worst assignments first!), but it is mostly downhill after that.
