Philadelphia, PA – Join PBK Philadelphia for a talk from R. Scott Stephenson, Vice President for Collections, Exhibitions, and Programs of Philadelphia’s new Museum of the American Revolution, about the conflicts and contradictions within the American War of Independence at the Acorn Club. His illustrated address will provide an introduction to the museum that opened last April with what the New York Times described as impressive exhibits infusing “18th-century history with distinctly 21st-century theatrical shock and awe.” A cash bar will open at 5:45 p.m. at the Acorn Club, 1519 Locust Street, in Center City Philadelphia. The program and dinner start at 6:30 pm. Your admission ticket(s) will be mailed if we receive your response by Nov. 24.  The cost of the dinner is $50 per person, which includes gratuity.
