Take Action Now to Keep Arts & Humanities in the Budget
Phi Beta Kappa is joining with the National Humanities Alliance and others in the humanities and arts communities to rally Congressional support. Congress will ultimately be responsible for writing the bills that fund the federal government, so it is imperative that they understand the fundamental value of these agencies and programs to constituents like you.
How can you take action today?
Since our founding in 1776, Phi Beta Kappa has celebrated excellence in the liberal arts and sciences and championed freedom of thought. As America’s most prestigious academic honor society, we have always been nonpartisan advocates for the value and benefits of liberal arts and sciences education. Phi Beta Kappa helped found NEH over 50 years ago and steadfastly supports its mission to serve and strengthen our nation by promoting excellence in the humanities and opening new worlds of learning for the American public.
