P. Gabrielle Foreman, a 2022 MacArthur Fellow who is the Paterno Chair of Liberal Arts and Professor of English, African American Studies, and History at Penn State University, will visit Howard University on April 3-4, 2023. Professor Foreman's lecture, "Why Didn’t We Know? Colored Conventions and the Long History of Black Organizing," will be held on Tuesday, April 4 at 5:30pm ET in the Browsing Room of Founders Library. The lecture is free and open to the public.
