Olivia Keller

Olivia Keller is a rising senior at Amherst College, majoring in Political Science and Environmental Studies with a concentration in International Relations and Sustainability. Before transferring to Amherst, she earned an associate's degree in business and digital media & web technology from Montgomery Community College. There, she was also a member of the Renaissance Honors program, worked at the U.S. Library of Congress, and served as captain of the Track and Field team. At Amherst, Olivia's multidisciplinary coursework has deepened her understanding of the interconnectedness between economic inequality, social welfare, and climate change, shaping her aspirations toward law school and public service. With over a decade of volunteer experience in nonprofit organizations and hands-on involvement in local and state government, such as the Massachusetts House of Representatives, she is committed to addressing global sustainability, energy, and waste challenges through policy reform and environmental advocacy. Olivia envisions a career in federal or international governance, aspiring to work with institutions such as the U.S. Department of the Interior or the United Nations. This summer, she will participate in the Public Policy and International Affairs Junior Summer Institute at Carnegie Mellon. In her free time, Olivia enjoys competing on her college's equestrian team, writing poetry, traveling, photography, and studying Greek and Arabic.
