Rithika Iyengar is a rising senior at Rice University studying Mathematical Economic Analysis and Mathematics, with a minor in Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities. On campus, she actively contributes to the Baker Institute Student Forum, leads multiple community-centered research projects, and collaborates with nonprofits across Houston, the U.S., and internationally. She is currently an exchange student at Trinity College, University of Cambridge. This summer, Rithika will be working at the Board of Governors at the Federal Reserve; after graduation, she hopes to eventually pursue a PhD in economics and work in policy evaluation and/or international development at the federal level. In her free time, Rithika enjoys running, dancing, reading, and listening to music.
