Isaiah Johnson is a rising fourth-year student at Oberlin College, where he is double-majoring in Africana Studies and Politics. As a Cole Scholar and founder of Oberlin’s Democratic Socialists of America, he works to turn ideas about fairness and justice into real-world action in his communities.
As a founder of The Oberlin Rose political discourse magazine and Opinion Editor at The Oberlin Review, he contributes to a thriving discourse community. After Oberlin College, he aims to participate in a J.D and Ph.D. program, where he can nurture his passion for intellectual pursuit in a manner that directly contributes to movements for equity, freedom, and justice within our national and global landscapes.
In his free time, he enjoys reading and spending time with his friends. He is based in Pine Grove Mills, Pennsylvania.
