Josh Crowley

Josh Crowley is a rising senior at Pomona College, where he studies Politics and Economics. He recently completed a year abroad at the London School of Economics. Raised in Austin, Texas, Josh developed an early interest in public service through his mother’s example. What began as volunteer work evolved into a commitment to driving lasting, systemic change.

At Pomona, he founded the Sagehen Civic Scholars Internship Program, which connects students with meaningful civic work through the City of Claremont. He has built experience across the Texas House of Representatives, the U.S. Department of State, the LA County Board of Supervisors through the Paragon Policy Fellowship, and the Boston Consulting Group, where he works to bridge public and private-sector thinking.

Across these experiences, Josh remains driven by a core belief that civic systems function best when everyone has a seat at the table, and that structural barriers often limit access. He plans to pursue a career at the intersection of business and public policy, working to expand civic participation and ensure that people from all backgrounds can access opportunity and representation in the systems that shape their lives.
