#PBKSelfKey Contest
Information
Calling all new members! Share a #PBKSelfKey and be entered for a chance to win a Phi Beta Kappa Prize bag. You can enter by:
- Posting a photo on Twitter, LinkedIn, or Instagram showing off your certificate, Phi Beta Kappa key, stole, cords, or a printable key.
- Tag Phi Beta Kappa and use #PBKSelfKey and #2023PBK
- Make sure you're following Phi Beta Kappa on Twitter, LinkedIn, or Instagram.
The contest will end June 30, 2023, after which we'll choose one winner selected at random from all eligible photos.
Contest Rules
Prizes: A prize bag containing assorted Phi Beta Kappa merchandise and copies of the The American Scholar and Key Reporter.
How to Enter: Those who share a photo on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtags #PBKSelfKey and #2023PBK and tag Phi Beta Kappa between April 1, 2023, and June 30, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. EST will be entered into the contest. Submitted photos may also be used in Phi Beta Kappa Society publicity materials. By submitting a photo to the 2023 #PBKSelfKey Contest, you will be entered and will be deemed to have agreed to abide by these rules.
Winner Selection and Verification: After the submission deadline passes, staff at The Phi Beta Kappa Society national office will select one winner in a random drawing. All prizes will be awarded. The winner will be selected by July 22, 2023, and notified by email. If a winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been made; or they are found to be ineligible; or they do not comply with these rules, such winner will be disqualified and, if applicable, an alternate winner may be selected.
Eligibility: The contest is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. No purchase is necessary. Membership in The Phi Beta Kappa Society is required for entry in the 2023 #PBKSelfKey Contest. Employees of The Phi Beta Kappa Society, the Senate, and members of each of their immediate families are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Acceptance of Prizes: Prizes must be claimed or redeemed by August 31, 2023. All federal, state and local taxes, laws and regulations apply.
General Conditions / Release: The winner, by acceptance of the Prize, agree to release The Phi Kappa Society, its officers, directors, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and employees from any responsibility or liability in connection with any loss, accident, or death incurred in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of any prize. The Phi Beta Kappa Society does not make, nor is responsible for, a warranty or a guarantee with regards to any prize, including but not limited to a warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The Phi Beta Kappa Society reserves the right to amend, revise, and interpret these rules as it sees fit.
