Uniquely equipped to strengthen support for the value of the arts and sciences, Phi Beta Kappa launched the National Arts & Sciences Initiative in 2013. The Society taps into its cross-country network of 500,000+ members, 293 chapters, and nearly 50 associations to: 

 Highlight the public value of the arts and sciences through all of life through local awareness-raising events and a national campaign


 Connect with decision makers and opinion shapers at the state and federal level to advocate for policies that strengthen an arts and sciences education 


 Coordinate with leading higher education associations to amplify the impact of our work
