Monique Bolsajian (ΦΒΚ, University of California, Santa Barbara)
Monique Bolsajian is the Deputy Chief of Staff & Legislative Director for Congressman Gil Cisneros, where she implements the Congressman’s legislative strategy and leads the legislative team in securing policy wins for CA-31. Prior to joining Team Cisneros, Monique worked for Congressman Ted Lieu (CA-36) for almost four years, handling a broad range of policy issues as his Legislative Assistant. During her time on Capitol Hill, she has focused her issue area expertise on foreign policy, defense, and appropriations. Before coming to Capitol Hill, Monique completed a service year with AmeriCorps, where she worked full-time at a legal aid self-help center. Monique was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She has received an M.A. in Defense and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College. She graduated with Highest Honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she received B.A.s in Global Studies and English Literature.

Quinn Hirsch (ΦΒΚ, American University)

Quinn Hirsch is a Senior Policy Advisor for Congressman Steny. H Hoyer (MD-05). In this role, she advises the Congressman on issues related to health, disability, federal employees, financial services, and LHHS & FSGG Appropriations. Previously, Quinn served in the Office of the Deputy Secretary at the U.S. Treasury Department, where she supported implementation of the historic Inflation Reduction Act. Prior to Treasury, Quinn served in the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs within the Office of Management and Budget, handling public health and health insurance data and regulations. Hailing from Northern Illinois, Quinn has a BA in Public Health from American University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and a MPH concentrating in Health Law, Bioethics, and Human Rights from Boston University. Quinn lives in DC with her partner and dog, Pippin, and loves exploring the city on foot and trying new restaurants.

Niko Malhotra (ΦΒΚ, Williams College)

Niko Malhotra serves as a Professional Staff Member for Chair Joni Ernst (R-IA) on the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. He leads the innovation policy portfolio on the Committee where he examines federal government investments in R&D by small businesses developing critical technologies. On Committee staff, he led legislative efforts in the enactment of the Small Business Innovation and Economic Security Act to reform and reauthorize the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs. Malhotra is a 2023 recipient of the Harry S. Truman Scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Williams College.

Justine McDaniel (ΦΒΚ, University of Puget Sound) is a Washington correspondent for the Los Angeles Times, covering politics, policy and the White House's interactions with California. She previously covered national news and politics at The Washington Post. Her previous reporting on transportation, water contamination and other topics at the Philadelphia Inquirer was recognized with several awards. She was a 2014 reporting fellow for News21, part of the Carnegie-Knight Initiative on the Future of Journalism Education. She grew up in the North Bay.
