For 250 years, the Phi Beta Kappa Society has worked tirelessly to recognize and promote the value of the liberal arts and sciences in higher education. Dr. Ron Lee, Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the First-Year Seminar Program at Rockford University, will offer reflections on the importance of liberal learning and free inquiry, especially in times when those ideals are challenged, followed by comments from RU PBK alumni and what is sure to be a lively group discussion. Celebratory refreshments will follow the reflections and discussion. No registration required.
