Diana Gavrykh

Diana Gavrykh is a senior at Temple University, majoring in political science and global economy, and is an active member of the Temple chapter of the Pi Sigma Alpha honors society. Diana spent a summer abroad in Ukraine through the Gilman Scholarship studying Ukrainian language and literature. She has worked part-time for her local library in Tacony, Philadelphia, and has peer-mentored students taking a Quantitative Methods course as a Diamond Peer Teacher.

This past spring, Diana studied abroad as a student of the SIT Switzerland: Banking Finance and Social Responsibility program. She interned for a non-profit organization in Geneva called the DiploFoundation, which works to disseminate digital policy and e-diplomacy issues for diplomats and professionals around the world. Her research interests surround digital policy can impact governance and development. After graduation, she hopes to be selected for a Fulbright Study/Research Award in Ukraine, and ultimately intends to earn an MA in political economy or public policy. Diana aspires to work in diplomacy as a US Foreign Service Officer. In her free time, Diana enjoys rollerblading, painting, and playing the piano. Diana is originally from Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
