The Program Assistant will provide hands-on administrative and operational support to the Development, Events & Awards teams, helping ensure smooth workflows and successful program execution.This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who enjoys coordinating events, supporting project logistics, and collaborating with a small, mission-driven team. You will help the teams operate efficiently while gaining valuable experience in development, events, and nonprofit operations.

Status: Full-time, Exempt
Location: Dupont Circle, Washington DC- in person required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with scheduling, coordination, and logistics for development, events, and awards initiatives.- Support preparation of communications, materials, and reports for internal and external audiences.
- Help manage databases, spreadsheets, and other records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Serve as a point of contact for general inquiries related to events, programs, and departmental initiatives.
- Contribute to smooth workflows across the Development, Events & Awards teams by supporting day-to-day operational needs.
- Assist with tracking budgets, RSVPs, and other program-related details as needed.
- The position requires occasional out-of-state travel to support organizational events, donor engagements, and conferences.

The anticipated salary is in the range of $50,000-60,000 depending upon experience.
