• 20 Wednesday, Aug Driehaus Museum Chicago Association - "The Sound of Color" at the Driehaus Museum
August 20, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
The Richard H. Driehaus Museum, 50 E Erie St, Chicago, IL 60611

Come explore the interplay of light, color, shape, and texture at "The Sounds of Color," a free concert inspired by the upcoming Driehaus Museum exhibition, "Tiffany Lamps: Beyond the Shade." This concert features an eclectic array of musical miniatures presented by Phi Beta Kappa member Sara Su Jones and her duo partner, Tatyana Stepanova. For more details, see https://driehausmuseum.org/programs/detail/third-wednesday-the-sounds-of-color-with-sara-su-jones-and-tatyana-stepanova

We will take an optional quick tour of the Museum before the concert (a number of pieces from the exhibit will be on display), and then we will head over to the beautiful and historic Murphy Auditorium to enjoy the concert, which starts at 6:00 PM. Sara Su and Tatyana, along with Sara Su's life partner, former WFMT host Dennis Moore, would be delighted to meet with you after the concert!

While the event is free, we reserved a block of tickets to ensure there will be space for you. Please register to let us know you are coming. Further details about the venue and program will be sent to registrants.
