Please join us for our annual lunch, business meeting, and lecture in the Henderson Room at the Michigan League in Ann Arbor. Our guest speaker will be Margo J. Schlanger, the Wade H. and Dores M. McCree Collegiate Professor of Law at the University of Michigan Law School and a 2025-2026 Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar (pictured on the left). Professor Schlanger is the founder and director of the Civil Rights Litigation Clearinghouse. She will speak on American Solitary Confinement: Origins, Developments, And Potential Paths Forward. Prior to the lecture, we will elect our association's Board of Directors for 2026, vote on amendments to our constitution and bylaws, and announce the winners of our two annual scholarships.
