Prosanta Chakrabarty, the E.K. Hunter Chair for Communication in Science Research, Professor and Curator of Fishes at the Museum of Natural Science and Department of Biological Sciences at Louisiana State University, will visit Centre College on March 5-6, 2026. Professor Chakrabarty's lecture, "Why Teaching and Understanding Evolution Still Matters", will be held on Thursday, March 5 at 7:00pm ET in Young 113 Lecture Hall. The lecture is free and open to the public.
