Prosanta Chakrabarty, the E.K. Hunter Chair for Communication in Science Research, Professor and Curator of Fishes at the Museum of Natural Science and Department of Biological Sciences at Louisiana State University, will visit Elon University on April 16-17, 2026. Professor Chakrabarty's lecture, "Why Teaching Evolution Still Matters", will be held on Thursday, April 16 at 6:00pm ET in Whitley Auditorium. The lecture is free and open to the public.
